I am in negotiation with a chineese supplier , and they mention either fob or cif .What would be the difference please?

CIF = Cost + Insurance + Freight

FOB = Free on Board. Seller pays for delivery to a certain location at which point the buyer must cover all shipping and insurance expenses.

Hi Saagan whats the chances of you with the mods approval of course, of putting a sticky list together
with all the code letters with there true meaning like you have done for Jaffaboy.

took me ages yesterday to sort out what L/C payment ment in the end i googled it
