I have no idea my friend - its been so long.

To be honest I found some distros cheaper than others for one thing but not another. They set up partnership agreements with manufacturers and some get better discounts than others. e.g ingram might be cheaper for seagate hard drives but c2000 might be cheaper for intel processors.

I still have an account with c2000 as they recently took over my AV supplier but I have not asked for computer prices

There was one distro who was regularly cheaper than most others for just about everything but I am not sure if they are even still in business. I am sure the were called morex plus or something to that effect.
