Hi,

That's an interesting question. But I think an more interesting question is "why wouldn't they be ok?"

I'm an internet retailer, and I spend a lot of time in business/ecommerce forums and also buy tons of stuff online for myself - and I have to say that it just seems to be generally accepted that most internet retailers are genuine, and most offer reasonable service. If anything, most of the threads about frausdters and scammers are in regard to customers rather than suppliers!

But since we started our wholesale site, and started frequenting this board I soon noticed that there are so many threads asking if so-and-so are real or if such-and-such are scammers. There just seems to be a huge distrust amongst the members when it comes to wholesalers and distributors.

I'm just wondering if this is because the wholesale/distribution area is more prone to fraudsters, scammers and dodgy dealers? or are traders just a more suspicious lot by nature? It would be interesting to know.

But I digress... back to LabelKing.

I should probably mention at this point that LabelKing is one of our retail sites (in fact our newest one), so obviously I think you should trust them (us)!

But now can I ask you a question (and anyone else that reads this) - and I'm not being funny or anything, I genuinely want to know - Is there anything about the site that makes it look dodgy? Or is there anything missing from the site that you think should be there and that would make you more comfortable using it?

At the moment we've done everything we can think of to allay customers fears of ordering off the internet -
  1. We've got 'trust-guard' security logo's on every page
  2. on the contact page we list our Ltd company name & full registered address
  3. we also list our VAT number, and our companies 'registered' number
  4. we also mention we've been trading over 8 years, and this can all be verified by entering the company number on the companies house website
Is there anything else we can do, or anything we haven't done...?

I think the reason a lot of people are nervous is that they buy in large volume from abroad. Therefore due dilligencve is very necessary.

Personally if I'm buying from a UK supplier as long as I have their name and address, company name and bank details I'm not very careful at all. I know if the worst comes to the worst I can get the police involved.

Things are not so simple in China.
