Hi guys, first post here, so hi everyone :-)

I'm not actually in this line of business (I'm in I.T.!) but my dad's company is and they basically ship in goods in bulk into Ireland from England. These goods tend to be mainly toilet rolls, kitchen rolls, washing powder etc, bought by the container load (either mixed or one line of product), brought in by their own haulage company. They also have sole access to one line of product from a manufacturer.

I was looking to know how I would go about finding places that could provide goods (the kind of product you might find a local shop for example) in bulk? I'm based in Manchester.

Would would be ideal would be getting sole access to a line of product, is acting as a product "agency" the right term?

Anyway, I hope this all makes sense, but if anyone had any thoughts on the above, that would be fantastic.

Regards,
Andrew
