Yeah, your right there.

Just looked up an email from when I first setup an account with them and here is what I was told by GEM. Centresoft were pretty much the same:

"
In order to set up an account with us you must be over 18 and this must be your full time occupation. You need to currently be trading as either an internet retailer (with your own website) or from another retail outlet such as a shop. If you are VAT registered you will need to supply us with your VAT Number. You must also be selling products directly related to our industry (i.e. computer games and peripherals and/or business software, PC peripherals.)

In order for us to open an account for you, your website will need to be up and running and ready to trade from.
We need to be able to go to your website and just verify that you will be trading from it and selling products directly related to our industry.

All applications also require a landline telephone number.

We cannot open accounts for companies that have not secured premises for their shop yet or whose website is still under construction.

Unfortunately if you are trading through EBay, this does not meet our criteria.

Once your account is set up, your Account Manager will be able to discuss prices with you as until you have opened an account with us we are unable to provide this information. This is mainly because prices and products are constantly changing and vary depending on the size of the order. Also as not everyone will qualify for an account with us, we feel this way is more efficient and speeds up the process for those that do qualify.

Once your account has been approved you will need to place an order within the first month to activate your account.

We are the UK Exclusive distributors of Xbox products and one of the largest distributors of Gaming, (including PS2 games but not consoles)/PC/Business software and peripherals. Further details are available on our website, www.gem.co.uk .

We have an initial minimum order of £300 and customers are expected to place an order regularly (at least once a fortnight.)

Pricing for games will vary but the average mark up for a game is around 30%."

enjoy..... P.S i already know of maxwatches, do you know another apart from w2u.
If his looking at selling on eBay he will find it very hard to make a profit on games that are bought from UK distributors. Only select titles such as GTA IV which sold out will be very good. Otherwise its hit and miss. Why pay £37 on eBay when you can get in Tesco for £34 or region free for £29.

dvd's sell best..... P.S: the price you see on the page is much higher than you actually pay.... Put what you want to buy in the checkout. You will have a 25% discount. The dealer price is the price they recomend you sell it at, not the price you pay.
