You should take a look at the UK traders wholesale guide.
Also be careful of some websites claiming to be wholesalers as there are some rogue sellers out there.

I am also looking for a good mobile phone wholesaler, this was the main reason I signed up for www.theuktrader.co.uk. I've tried calling and contacting all of the relvant wholesalers in the link sections and a lot of the phone numbers are no longer in use, and the ones that are, are not picked up
Could anyone give me information on this? otherwise I feel like I'm paying my subscription for nothing
Cheers,
Bert

Hi
Firstly, can you email me with a list of the numbers/companies that you have had a problem with so that I can look into this further.
Also, whilst there are companies listed in the database that can supply mobile phones, this is a highly competitive industry and it is incredibly hard for small traders to compete with the retail chains and still make a profit.
Mobiles are often sold at a loss by the large companies simply so that they can earn their income from the monthly tariffs.
Therefore, is the real problem not that you can't find anyone to supply you but that you can't find anyone to supply you at a low enough price to make such a purchase worthwhile? If so, then it is highly likely that your pricing expectations are not realistic.
Regards
Richard

Hello, I'll try and get you a list in a minute.
My problem is that I simply cannot find any companies at all that will sell SIM-free mobile phones in bulk There is one website I found that sold them cheaper than anywhere else, but I'm worried now as I placed an order for one phone (as a test) and now they're e-mailing me asking for my mothers maiden name!
As far as the profit margin thing goes, it seemed quite good to me? I've heard of places where you can get the Nokia 7200 for £165 for example, and they seem to be selling on ebay for anywhere between £250 and £350. This is what I wanted to do.

I am not up on the current models at present but if the 7200 is a recent phone then it is highly unlikely that you can buy them for £165 and sell them for the price you state.
When you say you have heard of places that you can buy them at this price, do you mean you actually have the company names or someone has simply told you that it is possible? I suspect the latter or else this thread would not even be here...
Trust me, there is practically no profit margin in latest model, sim-free phones. This has been discussed on the forum before and it is simply the way it is. Same goes for computer equipment, console games, dvds, most electrical goods etc.
This is also one of the reasons why you can find lots of mobile phone accessory wholesalers but very few mobile phone wholesalers - there isn't any money in it for them either.
Regards
Richard

Hi,
Not to go off in a tangent, but I will be receiving a Sim Free Nokia 6230 for only £20.00!!
While this may not be everyones cup of tea, it does work, not a wholesalers but I believe not breaking forum rules as within topic:

Also I am sure Darren might also be able to do something possibly, but as Richard says it may not be worth his while as no profit if any:

How many people have you found so far to subsidise the phone for you, seems like you have to convince quite a few people into contributing £20 and look for others willing to do the same to get a phone.

Hi,
As I say not for everyone, but a new phone goes on at 18:15 I access site just after as I had been watching and ordered a CD at 18:16 how many people do I need to refer ??? mmmm None at all as I have no doubts I will be top of the pile. Don't get me wrong I was lucky this time.
The point being if you watch the site, and did the same say you ordered 5 x £20 £100.
These phones retail at £350+ x 5 = £1750 - £100. = £1650 profit.
As I say not for everyone and don't get me wrong, it is bloomy boring watching site waiting.
Also I personally think worth the wait, and referring people, I have also referred people to Richards Site maybe just as many and to date I have made .......:
Zilch (middle of a Donut) probably never will make a penny.
Still I am not worried, as I believe I may still maybe make money on repeat sales from my Store, and also I believe this forum will benefit them.
Just out of interest something I was think of, how good is the affiliate tracker?
For example the people we refer, if they make purchases via Trader newsletters, emails does this get credited to us???
How does clickbank recognise this as these people joined because of us?
