Can someone please tell me why Alibaba.com is not reliable? I thought that would be the place to go to find reliable trustpass members to buy from? Wrong? Then I became a member for $350 for nothing... I just seem to get ripped off all the time! I should give up and find something else to do... :dunno:

Alibaba are scammers themselves...................delivering broken promises of trust and security with thier trustpass junk.

Im sick of suggesting to them to hire 1 or two forum analysers so they can check high demand lines daily.
Eg: Ipods,Psps, xbox etc..............all they have to do is find out what proper and realistic prices are eg: ipod 4gb aprox 160 -190..............then once they come accross a too good to be true supplier.eg: 90 -130 dollars..........they can delete the BS scammer immediately................but nooooooo they couldnt give 2 hoots and are only concerned about selling trustpass spots............i say down with them.

Dubaidivas, just do a quick search on this forumand look at all the threads where people have been scammed out of their money by members of Alibaba. Just because they are a "Trustpass Member" doesn't mean that you should trust them. Those members get that name simply by buying it from Alibaba, if I am correct. I have only seen maybe one or two reliable suppliers ever come from Alibaba. We have a nickname for that website on this forum...
Alibaba and his Forty Thieves... :niceone:

Woodle is right.... Alibaba is too interested in making money through trustpass sales, and far too disinterested in fraud and customer satisfaction... sorry

There is alot of scamming going on at alibaba.com. 9 out of 10 people who list there are

scammers so please beware. Even if they are gold or trustpass members, it doesn't mean

a single thing. Gold and trustpass members have also been scamming people.

PLEASE BEWARE WHEN YOU DEAL WITH THE PEOPLE WHO ADVERTISE ON

OPEN SESAME !!!!!!!!!

Before Alibaba Used to have 40 friends which are purely thieves. Now Alibaba has thousands of thieves.

CLOSE SESAME !!!!!!!

And by the way open sesame and close sesame are their passwords. I know some Nigerian scammers (thieves) use "smith" as their password. Please be informed that these thieves are high-tech, so act cautions with your dealings

okay, i agree. I'm scared to order based on reading so many people saying they got screwed on Alibaba.
How can someone scam you if they are a Gold member? i'm just trying to learn. Someone who has been a gold member since 2004. I see that someone could be phishing out the name/password for the company but what steps other than flying to the factory can you take to check them out?

I have a guy that's a gold member since 2004. i want to trust them, but i ask for reference and i don't get one.....maybe they have never conned anyone since 2004? and still hope to one day!

I guess that I should not use any of those thieves then. I was bit suspicious already that everyone seemed to be trading only there and most of them are Chinese..but in a hurry to find suppliers so I thought if I just pay some money I would find them faster. Have been researching and emailing back and forth and checking and ordering and being screwed for 6 months now!! How on earth can you find proper suppliers...? Not through Alibaba I guess.. And on top of that most of the real manufacturers are not even responding...They don't believe me I guess when I tell them I'm creating a professional online fashion boutique..(hopefully)

And I am very surprised how many fake brands are out there. I thought this was heavily punished and you couldnt get away with that... And on top of that why do people want to wear fake brands....And how can you sell to people and tell them it's authentic when you know its not.. I believe in what goes around comes around..sooner or later..

Sorry just had to let it out...
