hello there, my name is daniel and I am new here, but have recently started a website after some encouragement from a friend. i have signed up to a few affiliate schemes and am trying to promote my site.

If anyone has any ways that i could improve or promote my site, it would be great. I have seen some websites claiming to bring 10,000 unique hits for about 200 pounds. if anyone can help me with info that would be great.

oh, by the way, my website is http://www.myfreesim.co.uk

its my first web site and im only 19, any feedback, good or bad is welcome.

thank you.

Daniel

btw; the posts i have read so far seem to be very informative and helpful.

Since your offer only applies in the UK there is no point in you getting 200k visitors from the USA as none of them could use your offer even if they wanted to.

So you should start by trying to get links from places that have predominantly UK visitors and preferably younger ones as I think that is probably your market.

£200 for 10k hits??? thats too much! my 2 cents!

there's a good place I know of to get really good "adult" traffic for "adult" sites! And they only charge $200 for 100,000 hits.

Mostly useless Asian traffic but the reason adult webmasters use it for is to test out link partners. They aquire 20 new link exchanges (for example) then buy 100k hits. The top two or three preforming sites stay and the rest get binned, then they go through the proccess again!

Its all about the link exchanges in the adult niche! Not for the search engines mind you! You can forget about SEO skills, as theres no point in hight seach engine postion. All the traffic comes from links!
Your typical porn surfer will jump from free porn site to free porn site, and about 70% of them will become paid up members at some point! At which point you hope that he signs up under your affiliate ID and pocket $30 plus 50% revenue share on following months membership!

cheers

Hi Daniel,

I've a quick question after taking a look at your website.

Your site states I have to sign up for the Blockbuster trial to get the free SIM cards. When SIM cards are easy to get free of charge pretty much anywhere on the Internet, and the Blockbuster website allows me to sign up for the free trial that you're offering, why should I go via your site?

Are you collecting the information? Is there something else in it for you other than the Blockbuster aff link?

Cheers,
Phil

no, there is nothing else in it for me other than the affiliate link.
i thought more people would take up the offer seeing as its a no obligation trial with blockbuster. i think im going to up the offer and make it ten free sim cards for just signing up to the blockbuster trial.

do you think that would help?
or do you have any suggestions as to how i could improve myfree:sim?

sorry about the late reply,
Many thanks,

Daniel
