Yes, it's right. Go to visit the suppliers at frist, then try to place a smaple order to test.

just make sure you do not get a wrong supplier who takes your money and gives you sub standard stuff

I just want to know how about the buyer's thinking.

I am one fabric supplier in china, the buyer give me order also same like the orginal poster thread.

But not all do like that expecially about the sample problem and freight problem.

I think the problem of your order the supplier send to you by dhl is the custom of Uk stopt it. mabye the goods your supplier sent by dhl didnt apply to custom.

Just now i think about it. , you suppliery backed your money, it means he dont want to cheat your money . right? so there are must problem other points.

Fod DHL. if the goods heavy, the custom will check and ask suppplier aplpy to customers( commonly for sample , small piece no need apply to customers, cuase the sample is useless for buyer , the good if heavy and have big value the custmer will check , if didnt apply to customer . they will keep in customer and then... i am not sure then what will happen, but some supplier dont want to pay extro money of apply to customer. they make risk.)

but your supplier didnt reply you , it is problem, then you should try to call the office nubmer for check, is the email address changed or what?

maybe the stuff who ever contacted with you left that company and her / his email didnt used again by others.

Any how , anywhere have fraut. i also was cheated by one Austrial buyer , and one my Austrical friend cheated by chinese supplier also . should take easy in doing business.

one supplier must have offfice tel , fax number , and can reply you in time, cause supplier care about buyer. and good supplier can tell the products clearn , it means he is good at this item.

it is good way put trial order.
