Buying branded products from retailers overseas to resell in UK?

Hi all,

Is it possible to import branded goods, say like apple ipods, from the EU or US and because of the exchange rate make a profit on them selling them online.

not much profit in those goods anyway. I think buying retail would definately be worse, maybe a loss! Find a distributor, but then can you afford and 'move' so much stock your quids in? good luck.

A few years ago you used to be able to buy iPods off Amazon in the states and sell them for profit on eBay UK. I spotted the opportunity purely by luck while looking for something else and made a nice return on some dormant capital at the time. With the exchange rates as they are now, I sincerely doubt its still possible. At any rate, there are far better margins away from iPods and branded goods in general. You need to start thinking outside of the box.
