I am a newbie to the site but I have already had a great experience on it and found it extremely helpful...

lets see if my luck continues...

I have just given up my 9-5 (sometimes 9!!) job as a lawyer to concentrate on the life of self-employment...I have been trading on ebay part time for about 2 years and now am pushing things forward.

I deal with vinatge clothing/cycling jerseys/arts and crafts and the like..

I am looking to venture into a few other areas and wanting to build up some solid FB really quickly by selling earphones.....unbranded ipod-style would be fine...

Anyone have some good ideas as to where I could get my paws on some -looking for about 500..

Currently been offered about 55p per piece.....can anyone beat that...or indeed know a man who can?

Great first tips guys...

As to the origin of the stock, I am unsure.....I believe that it will be dropshipped from China, but the supplier ensures me that they are in the UK now...

I am still 'conversing' with the supplier and going through my 'checklist' to increase the chance of it being legit so should be ok.....

Any other tips as to potential/possible suppliers would be a great help tho..

1. If the "supplier" has a website, check if their address is actually their address.
2. Call them on the phone if you have not already done so and make sure their telephone number is a real number.
3. If you deem it important enough then meet the supplier and (if possible) see the stock up close.

Have a look on Global Sources or Alibaba if you are interested in getting goods from China.

Ive heard many a bad word about chinese earphones in bulk quantitys from china.

A sample is defainlty recommended.
