Just a wild guess, but I would imagine that they would get them delivered by the thousand direct from the distributors to a central warehouse and then distribute them amongst the stores with their own transport (I've seen Blockbuster lorries)

Sorry, just playing with you a bit Hellsbells.

But also trying to make a point.

You need to use the proper terminology to get the answer you expect.

Better would have been "Where does Blockbuster source their goods?" "Who supplies Blockbuster?", etc.

A courier, post person or teamster delivers the goods to the stores. You didn't mention the stores, just Blockbuster, so it's a given that you mean corporately, not each outlet.

In all probability they they would be classified as a "national account" or a "house account" of all of the major production companies, or their in-country distributors.

In general National Account means that they are set up through the home office of the supplier so that if they do deliver (by whatever means) to each outlet, that all outlets will be billed at the same contracted price.

House Account means that they are given a special 9and possibly still national account) price and that no salesperson earns a commission or any distributor sells them directly. In other words, there are no commissions or profits made, the company (the house) reserves all of them for themselves. However they may have an agreement with a distributor to actually supply the products at an agreed up handling fee only.
