Just stumbled on article here about that you can't get branded items from China. Had a look on Alibaba, it's full with Canons, Nikons etc stuff. So how can it be? What about Hong Kong?

You'll have to keep reading, lots of fake suppliers, they might say it's Nike, Sony etc, but it's not. Ask on here before you part with cash, it might sound great but it won't be when you get nothing and they have your cash.

You can't buy branded goods from china at all all fakes. Hongkong yes its ok but you will still have to look out for scams same with the whole world good luck.

Seems like I will have to look US direction or Hong kong. There are few suppliers in Indonesia, but don't know much about that place. Need to search and sniff around. Not easy as me beginner But still holding a flag

Just be very careful and always read the small print!!

Hey Scott
Just wanted to confirm this. Because I have heard this on other forums as well.
What is confusing me is that if there are really no authorized distributors in those regions, why do the vendors(maybe not all) themselves list chinese distribution companies on their websites. This is how I found most of the chinese ones myself. And I think they list more than just china, its taiwan, hong kong, all those countries. Whats the deal with that?
