As Andy has said, Global Sources and Alibaba would be a great starting point for unbranded goods coming out of China. Order quantities will generally be quite high and be careful to avoid branded goods as they will most likely be counterfeit.

You won't, not unless you're are buying end of line or clearance stock. 25pcs simply isn't a wholesale quantity. It's more like light bulk.
It will depend on the supplier, but an order for 500 or more pieces is starting to sound more like small wholesale.
