Same Here, I have tried contacting loads of suppliers on tradekey, and less than 1:5 have even replied!

Saying that the ratio isnt that much better on Alibaba...

STIN you claim to be "OUR OWN 'OFFICE' &'EYES' IN CHINA " and it sounds a great idea but I have know people who sign wrong official papers with they OWN EYES IN CHINA and they find out that it was not their own eyes in China in a very hard way..........So I personally with suggest for new guys to contact established english companies in china already and try to get some sort of a deal with them first. As I said my friend sign the wrong paperwork and he had to pay a lot of money to have his merchandize out of the china.

I find suppliers and buyers on alibaba too. But definitely not those from China. I never trust any china sites at all.

Not trusting China sites at all probably means you are loosing money, have you ever consider self advertize in Chinese paper in Chinese? That you could a different angle and give you an extra edege.

Hi there, yes i am a Chinese myself (living in Singapore) but it's not a market I am really interested in despite there having a high population etc.
Basically you can get cheap goods too in other Asian countries, admittedly not as cheap as China, but cheap enough to have a high profit margin.

Besides, I think it's wrong to say " loosing money" a better term would be, not earning as much. If you have work with other asian countries eg. S. Korea, Thailand, Singapore, the chances of being scammed is not as high.

I myself get goods from Korea (known for their quality) and sell to other markets. I normally go with my gut feelings and they turns out to be correct Just my 2 cents though. By no intention showing off.

Popiah, are you talking about a specific market segment or would you say your point is in a more wide range of products?

In general actually. I see a much obvious trend when people tend to get electronics gadget from China. Though it is none of my business since I am interested in wholesale fashion related stuff and many clothes from China are actually of poorer quality as compared to Korea
