Default markbyrne

Hi,

Everybody on this forum know markbyrne, right? Now you have to know that he scam me for 4674 GBP!

How?

About 6 weeks ago I paid for 500 pcs. of World of Warcraft 60-day time cards. He claim, he will deliver codes within 7 working days. After 9 day I receive 173 pcs. and he promised he will deliver the rest within few days. Unfortunetely I didn't receive any until now. Every time I contacted him about this issue he gave me another excuse for example:

#1 27/05/2009:

"We should have the 150 for you tomorrow, I'm pressuring my agent daily on the rest. He has let me down on this and a few other orders recently so I am pressuring him in every way possible, but as of your next order we are using our agent that we use for Microsoft points and delivery will be a maximum of 48 hours from payment "

#2 31/05/2009:

"
My apologies for not contacting you last week, I had to have a short break from the business, and have also been meeting with our new agents to further cement supply lines. I am now currently in a position to fulfil your order(s) completely next week. I am so sorry about the extended delay. All duplicates etc. will be addressed, and replaced.

As you may remember, I have had agent issues, and was severely let down. In turn, this has put pressure on our business relationship, and I hope I can retain your business by offering you a discount once these current orders are fulfilled. The next order you place with us will reflect this discount. The agent issues have now been temporarily resolved, as we move into a new supply chain, and brand new agents are working with us. Happily, they are ready to begin supplying next week. I have managed to release capital to secure the stock for you, until I can resolve the issues I have had with my previous agent.

I will be in touch early next week with deliveries and hopefully we can move forward!"

#3 5/06/2009:

"
This is just a courtesy email to let you know your stock has now been reserved with the distributor, and will be sent out on Monday. I will of course email you as soon as we get word the codes are being delivered to us."

#4 17/06/2009
(this one is funny):

"We've experienced a few problems with scanning the WoW cards, and this has put a delay on things. As soon as I have details of delivery date I will let you know. We have had hundreds held up, and we're assured that they will start coming through soon."

After that I wanted a refund but of course he didn't send it.

What I'm going to do now?
I already went to police and report him on https://secure.consumerdirect.gov.uk/reportascam.aspx

Now I'm going to leave him a "nice" feedback everywhere he advertise.

Don't deal with this guy and his company - MB Enterprises.

This is interesting. Mark is a respected member of this forum, so like a similar thread, I'll reserve judgment until I hear his side.

I have contacted Mark on your behalf, requesting an update to this incident. He has an excellent reputation here and I am certain that there is a valid explanation for this.

shoorty,

I would advise you not to do that. Giving a bad name to a seller who is 100% legit isn't right.

Let's hear Mark's side of the story first and then after, you two will need settle it out between yourselves.

May I suggest you go and cool off before you do something hasty.

Also posting a private conversation between yourself and Mark without his permission is uncalled for.

Im guessing he wont cool off until he gets refund or products.

Venting his frustration in the bad supplier section of the forum is understandable.

Allbeit Mark is a genuine guy and im sure it will be resolved.

Mark is a decent legit seller.

I am sure there is an explanation for this and I am sure you will get your goods.

If he got scammed, then imagine the stress he is under, not from you but everyone other buyer he has.

I once waited 7 months for a refund on something, you have a long way to go!
