Re: Bond-and-co.com selling up
I really cant understand You people. Since I'v registered here, this is allready the 3rd time I see a dropshipper quiting his biz/dropsite. And everyone has allways the same excuse: limited time... So then I have a question: if that is true, Your time is limited and blah blah, then why the heck dont You get a partner or someone who has the time and is ready to manage all those things??? Cos I think it's a bit rediculous to sell a site without the suppliers...
Gratz with the baby!
Good luck!
Ray

Circumstances can;t be avoided. It's better this process than the business continuing at half pace with orders outstanding and unhappy customers etc

Re: Bond-and-co.com selling up
Are you taking the Michael, I have just about spent £800 on a new site selling your bags, I'm sorry but I'm now really mad, you didn't even send me a message to tell me. Sorry, I'm drunk, come online have enough crap of my own going on, this was going to be my income. I have bought the domain name aswell. Congratulations on the birth, glad it all went well. Sorry for sounding mean I've had the day from hell and now this.

Really don't see why the suppliers would not be included. No value you in a website if you don't have the suppliers.

2 of the 3 have been for businesses that to be honest in the current structure is not viable long term.

Re: Bond-and-co.com selling up
A real good news, bad news situation, John. Maybe even GREAT NEWS, terrible news, I guess.
I'm sort of on your side, say what they will , there are many hours in setting up a website and the time you've been online will help rankings. Better by far that starting fresh with nothing.
Maybe you could meet halfway on the sources. Give some, or come up with an arrangement where they could wholesale only and you will retail. Something of that sort.
Amazing how you'll get a lot of comments from those with no intention of buying, eh.
Might be a good opportunity for one of those guys comes on with a handful of cash and not knowing what to do with it.
Good luck all around to you, hope it all goes well.

Re: Bond-and-co.com selling up
Ray, there is often not enough profit in an online wholesale business for two to share. Particularly if it's part-time to begin with.
And who gets the money in their account. And whose account gets locked up over some mistake, etc.
Not just a simple deal, I'd think.

Agreed with this.
Although last time I checked pregnancies took nine months
I also agree with Pete that a compromise may be needed in terms of suppliers, especially if people like Peerielass have potential orders.
