Default Alibaba.com - Caution

Needless to say, I believe everyone should be warned time and time again about this

site. If you look at the customer complaints section, you will find that 9 out of 10 sites

listed, including those who are gold and trust pass members, are scammers and con

artists. This site, like alot of other wholesale hosting sites is only interested in collecting

their usual monthly fees.

They don't really care to screen any of the people who list their products on their web-

site. If you are scammed and put in a complaint, they don't really bother to "investigate"

although they say they would. Scamming is so rampant these days, one would think

sites such as these would at least screen people who join and advertise to protect all

other consumers who are buying. After all, they are collecting fees on a monthly basis.

They are just as bad as the scammers themselves.

I've never been scammed on Alibaba yet, I am beginning to think that some people on here just don't like others finding the sources that can be available on it if you do your research

mipod, check the customer complaints section. Tons of complaints there including cries from

existing members to alibaba admin itself to do something about all the scamming, let alone the

nigerian scams, that is going on there. Everyone's cries have gone unheard although alibaba says

if anyone finds a scam to report it to them. Apart from taking a scamming site down, the

scammer just turns around and re-creates their site.

The problem I have with Alibaba is people go there and honestly believe Trustpass memebers are safe
so therefore thet do not check companies out properly untill they have been scammed

depends, if your looking for branded, high value "Hot" items then yes you will more than likely be scammed. If however you are looking for other items there are plenty of good suppliers on there.

The consumer electronics section seems to be plagued with scammers and con artists. A look into

the dvds and clothing section, you see alot of fake sites such as those from Malaysia and China. I

have no doubt there are a few reliable companies that list on this site but so far, it has been

nothing short of being a heaven for scammers.
