Unfortunately- yes. This was when I was a complete newbie- I knew absolutely nothing about these forums (most of the suppliers on the list were discussed on here, but looks like they were put on the list as a 'hit or miss' to whether they were legitimate or not!). I nearly got scammed by one guy too. It was only that I paid via credit card that I got my money back.

I share your pain Alison. I bought the same list from the same guy on this. I've brought it up on several posts but the numpty thinks that I'm a competitor that is trying to give him a bad name... I finally have further evidence to prove that it's £300 that I could have burnt to keep myself warm which would have been of more use!

A friend of mine bought that particular list, and when i seen it i was gob smacked! He had known scammers on there!!! Truth is, he blatenly kept his best suppliers and give away the ones that he was unsure about.

Yup, I don't know if there's anything I can do about it though? Just because if he is supplying knowingly false information under an untrue description (false advertisement), surely that's illegal?

They are still selling the same list; here is the link - http://www.iphones-2u.com/store/prod...2&cat=0&page=1

Yeh- it was a while ago now so doubt I'd get any money back from him, unless we all get together and try and do something?!! I know a few people who have purchased his list on here, and have been pretty upset about paying that amount and receiving false information, and therefore losing money!! He's got suppliers on there such as Mkenterprise (warning about them on these forums) Billy Dhillon, (scammer) Alex Ryles (scammer), sgtechies (also not great views on these forums), tomtop (also warnings about them here) etc. Its abit of a joke. I wish I had found this forum earlier, however as I said was completely new to the whole thing back then. I guess we live and learn... The only thing that got my back up was that he had said he had spent 'thousands' of pounds on flights visiting these suppliers and going to trade shows. Apparantly this is how he knew they were legitimate. Anybody else bought his list?!

Yeah, I know there have been numerous previous threads on the same discussion. Alex Ryles diddled me for £400 last year, but I know it's pointless trying to even think about getting that money back.
I still have the email he sent me to confirm my purchase of the list, including customer ref no. so I would be keen to look into getting my money back, if anyone else would be interested in trying too?

Yeh I've seen other posts on here too about people losing money because they have purchased from Alex and so on. I was just lucky because the bank did a chargeback on my card, but otherwise I was set to lose over £2, 000! Alex kept telling me that he would refund me the money but never did. I contacted Pablow, and he just said that he had used him in the past, he was legit blah blah and to always pay by credit/debit card just in case! The reason why I bought the list in the first place was because I thought he had actually gone to see these suppliers and their warehouses etc! Did you try and contact the police in Florida?! I know somebody else has called them over there about him, but not sure what happened. I'm not really sure what we could do to get the money back from Pablow, but at least by talking about it on here we are warning other members about his list and it's Pablow's name in the mud- not ours!
