Hello,
There has been an awful lot of people looking for and getting ripped off by apparent Apple distributors or such; I must see around 4-5 a day asking if these suppliers are genuine offering $300 or so for an iPhone; honestly if they were that cheap and you could make £300-400 a sale on eBay wouldn't we all be doing that?

Just take a moment to think and consider before you get caught in the trap of something too good to be true, even through a distributor you may only get £100 off the original price, maybe even less so keep this in mind as a reseller will be even less (they have to make profits themselves).

Below is the list of the only 4 in the UK, if you want cheaper iPhones you need to meet the requirements of them (I know one of them only requires £9,000 spend a year) or find a reseller:

Computer 2000
Hampshire House
Wade Road
Basingstoke
RG24 8NE

Ingram Micro UK
7 Clarendon Drive
Wymbush
Milton Keynes
MK8 8ED
+44 (0)870 166 0160

Westcoast Ltd
Arrowhead Park
Arrowhead Road
Theale
Reading
RG7 4AH
+44 (0)118 912 6000

Computers Unlimited
The Technology Park
Colindeep Lane
London
NW9 6BX
+44 (0)208 358 5858

Regards
Tom

Official distributors are likely to charge more than an unnoficial supplier like us. And in all honesty the vast majority of posters here wouldnt qualify to even become a reseller through most of those suppliers anyway!

Even so it would be very amusing to hear the conversation between some of the posters on here & Ingram Micro's sales department. I bet it would go something like this:

"Buyer" hello do you sell iphone
"IngramSales" yes we do
"Buyer" I like to buy 10 @ $300 & come pay cash ok
"IngramSales" Falls off his chair with laughter & politely ends the conversation

THEN "Buyer" comes on here & calls Ingram a scammer for not accepting cash & there offer of $300 a phone!!!

Hello,
Yeah indeed something similar. Gets pretty annoying to browse the forums and see yet other post about iPhones at stupid prices.

Still with IngramSales you only need to spend £9,000 a year, of course theres other terms.

iPhone in UK is exclusive to O2. no official apple distributor will have it. In the uk officially you can only get them from o2 or carphonewarehouse... although i do remember reading somewhere that t-mobile and orange are in talks with apple over the iphone,

They are not distributor of apple iphones... I contacted them and they said me that they are distributors of blackberry only...For now but don't know if they are going to be for apple too...

T-mobile is selling iphones, i was in Croatia and saw in T-mobile shop iphone 3Gs... But is very expensive about 1032€ for 32Gb and 950€ for 16Gb.

I think supremetronics was refering to the uk. T-mobile sells iphones in germany, vodafone in italy, 02 in uk, at&t in the usa. theres loads of diffrent networks.
