Default 'Wholesale Marketplace' forum - Legitimacy

Hi,

Iv been thinking about getting into trading for a while and have now taken the first steps. Iv noticed alot of good offers posted by members in the Wholesale Marketplace section of this website. But how can one be sure that when you send your money to a random paypal account that the products will be delivered? There seems to be no regulation, or maybe im missing something?

Thanks,
Stephen.

As with all online transactions there is never any guarantee that it will go smoothly, same as when you use your card in a shop, there is no guarantee that they are not cloning it.

But what I can tell you is that the admin of this site ask for proof of i.d. from advertisers and the advertisers also have to pay for a membership.

So I dare say it is about the safest platform to purchase from. Also check their feedback and ask on the forum if you are unsure about a particular seller.

All members are here to help.

All advertisers have to meet strict criteria to become an advertiser, many trade on a regular basis and if you ask around most can be vouched for.

There is no completely safe trading platform and some may slip through the net, but if you take the necessary precautions, do your homework then you will be fine.

Yes, you are missing quite a bit.

All advertisers here have "Community Advertiser" under their name which means they've paid to advertise their goods/services. They are subjected to verification checks by Anthony the owner of this forum. So you can be very sure that you won't be ripped off. If you were the member involved would be banned.

You can also look at an advertiser's "iTrader" rating. This feedback left from deals made through the forum.

I can say for one that we are indeed 100% legitimate regardless of our advertising status on TWF. Rest assured though you are required to prove you are who you say you are before you are accepted as an advertiser on here.

We have spent many 1000's of pounds with other forum members without a hitch.

However as with all transactions due diligance is required on your part as a buyer

As the rest have said we have to go through checks and provide ID etc.. and pay for our membership. But still do your checks as you would and ask around.

Remember this..... we hate scammers and believe me they do not last 5 mins on here.

Ok, I understand now. I did nt realise that there was a seperate category of membership for members who wish to sell products. It makes alot more sense now. Thank you all for your replies. Apologies for the stupid question.

Thanks,
Stephen.

It wasn't a stupid question .

Just remember to deal with forum registered sellers only.

Just report others who try to sell stuff to you.
