Looking to import HDMI Cables.

Hello All.
I am currently looking through various suppliers to import HDMI cables, to gain capital to start my own business.
I have about 5 or 6 companies that have sent me their price lists.

If never imported anything before, please advise me about these issues:

Buyer protection
Sampling
Import tax

Has anyone imported HDMI cables? Is it worth it?
Also any information in reguards to AWG etc would be good.

i used "global sources" to find suppliers.

I read though the thread about verifying a supplier, but any extra help would be good, as most of the websites for suppliers are in chinese.

Yes,there licensed to manufacture the product.

i understand that there a handling fee, and tax for goods over $1000 AUD, is this correct?

Not sure,I'm getting a "Page or file not found" on the business.gov.au website.

Try contacting the Customs Information Centre (CIC) for advice and information on 1300 363 263.
