Collection and Storage 26 pallet load
Sorry if this post is in the wrong location but hope someone may be able to steer me in the right direction.
I am looking for anyone that offers the kind of service whereby say I purchase a full loadf 26 pallet of A grade argos clearance is there a person/organisation that collects on my behalf and stores it on their premises allowing me to collect 2 or 3 pallets a time in my trusty van.
I'm not sure what the cost would be or even what i would expect it to be so I would really welcome any expert knowledge here.
cheers
Mark

Re: Collection and Storage 26 pallet load
It may or may not be of any use, but have you considered using one of these companies that offer container hire?
Quite often you'll find that they also offer to keep the container on their own secure premises. You can then pick the pallets up as you require them.
I would imagine that they would also have fork lift trucks to move your pallets for you.

Just contact a local Logistics or Road Haulage company. They will normally have storage available for pallets. The one near me charges £1.50 a week per pallet.

Maybe we can help. I have plenty of space and depending where you are in Scotland I may not be too far away from you. I don't have forklifts though. Let me know...

Re: Collection and Storage 26 pallet load
thankyou for the siwft responses. The key thing I am hoping to find is a combined transportation and storage solution say for example transportation @ £25 per pallett and storage £2 per week thereafter. Just something to help me calculate whether it would be cost efficient for me to even attempt this. Location wise I am way up in one of those AB postcodes that always costs more for deliveries lol. I have a high roof transit and am very adept at getting it safely crammed which i currently do a fortnightly or so trip

Get yourself a small unit Mark. You never know when a good deal is going to come up. If you dont have storage space you could miss out.
