Hi Folks,

After a good thought, i've decided rather than leave the forums - it may just be best if i scrap Tylola Trading & start from a clean slate...

However, can i change TWF username / e-mail address or would i have to scrap this account & set up a fresh?

Branding is really important. What you have set up is a brand that is becoming known why change that? I really like the Tylola brand

This can be done, but you'll need to contact Anthony. Send him a PM.

I should also remind you, as per the forums user agreement, you're only aloud the one account.

In your shoes, I wouldn't change the name though, as UV said you've already started to build a brand. And I think your name in particular has a special meaning. Keep it.

Yeah, don't scrap it. You have something individual and unique.

No offence in my next comment, but, seriously think about it,

Take a break for a few days! Obviously there is a lot going through your mind at the moment. Relax, have a few pints then once you've calmed down a bit, write a plan of what you need to do. Much easier to get things done if you write it all down and work out what needs done when.

It will be a lot easier to rebuild with what you have got than start again!

I'm just finding the whole VAT process exhausting... Before it was just a case of:

Research Product > Locate It > But It > Sell It.

Since being VAT reg'd, none of this has been able to be done - it's just been VAT backlog, accountant meeting, stress / worries about doing it wrong & sales are lyterally none existant as there has hardly been anytime to up-date ebay shop, post listings, promote e.t.c...

Now looking at my figures & taking GB's earlier advice "if you cannot afford an accountant, you shouldn't be in business" - i agree, at the moment i cannot afford one & therefore i should not be doing this.

Overall, i think it's best i go back to the drawing board - get my head together, concentrate on establishing my eBay shop & then see how things generate from there.

Ok so you take a breather, there is no need to change your identity here?

Plus the advice I have given you here and privately (by the way I had to buy a new desk!) is just advice. But with your limited knowledge (that is meant in the nicest possible way) you really do need help. You are constantly beating yourself up over simple stuff.

Don't beat yourself up over it. Of course being VAT registered brings more responsibilities but, if you ever want to be big you are going to need to be VAT registered anyway. Go and find yourself an A level standard business studies book, take a day reading it and you should have all the knowledge that you need.

Your only going to bump into this EXACT wall if you start again. Its got to be done at some point, do it now!

Will do it when i can afford it, best thing to do is build up my funds & get eBay established & then once i'm making enough £££ then get an accountant.

I shouldn't of jumped into the deep end

PS: I've PM'd Anthony but no reply yet... Can anyone give details on how to change username please?
