Can We have the settings on the forum adjusted so we are able to add paypal buttons to marketplace listings? I feel it would enable many more buyers to purchase items quicker and more efficiently especially if they are purchasing small quantities.

Of course I have no say in that, nor do I know if it's possible.

But, you could put up a link to a page with just that particular item and a PP button. Or a link direct to that item in your cart.

I think it would be a good idea.

It would definately make it easier to purchase something but then people could buy stuff without registering so they wont see the need to register here.

They can already buy items without registering. I'm pretty sure lurkers contact advertisers all the time without signing up.

Its a great idea though Jazzy, Petes would work too but having a button on the listing would certainly help many sellers here...

I can't speak for Anthony, obviously, but most forums will not allow HTML and I doubt you'd get the code for a button to work using the BB Code. If HTML were enabled it would simply be copy and paste.

But it seems enabling HTML invites too many other possibilities, not all positive, so the more limited BB Code is used by most forums.

could the HTML option only be available in the marketplace and for registered sellers?

I think it may be possible.

Create a Buy Now image or whatever and upload to an image host, then use the BB Code for that and Hyperlink the image to the PayPal

I think that should work. Anyone want to try it out ?
