I have sent a few e-mails to members via the 'wanted' forum, but cannot see how to check if they have been sent.

P.M's show in my sent box but not e-mails

The sent box only shows PM's sent over the forum.

Check your sent mails / outbox on your email account to see if the emails have sent.

Can you e-mail before you have 10 posts? I didn't see a message to the contrary - would it just not go through?

What are you using to send emails ?

If im correct it opens in Outlook so your emails go through that not TWF

I used the drop-down menu by the member's name that says "send e-mail to:"

I have a Mac - Safari is my browser, but sent items usually show in my sent box in 'Mail'.

Not sure, I dont seem to get that option.

Those emails go through the forum server, I don't think there is any record.

Send yourself one and see if it comes through.

The emails should be delivered to the email address of the member you are contacting, providing of course the member concerned has a valid email address.

I would always advise contacting members with over 10 posts via Private Message, far more likely it will be read than an email that may get caught out by spam.

Those members without 10 posts, you take your chances with, there are no guarantees as I discussed earlier.

Good idea!

Have sent one and it did come through, so it obviously is working okay.
