Default TWF Debate of the Week

Hey guys,

I thought it would be fun if we were to have something along the lines of a Debate of the Week.

Just a fun, friendly, thing where everyone would be free to voice views on a certain business-related (or unrelated) topic given by the Admin. E.G. Business related things like: Should VAT remain @ 15%, Should the UK join the Euro, Which is the best online selling platform etc. to other unrelated things like Should Scotland become independent, Are footballers paid too much etc. etc.

I know the Martin Lewis' Money Saving Expert Site have a similar thing.
http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/...play.html?f=46 However, they come at it from a more moral dilemma POV.

Perhaps to make it a bit worthwhile and to get a bit more effort from a few quid is slung to the winner (or something else like a months free advertising etc.)

Comments welcome!

Anything can get nasty if it's allowed to get out of control - I just think you've got to try and come at it from a dispassionate point of view and argue with your head rather than your heart.

I think it would be interesting and a generally good idea, granted certain rules would need to be laid down, well just to respect other members realy which is a rule anyway. We should all be mature enough to respect others rights to have their own opinions even if we don't share them and ours differ, it's just a case of using a little tact and diplomacy.

I say +1 to this!
