Move the adsense above the fold, it may get more clicks and will be viewable no matter the resolution

What is classed as "the fold"?

The reason I have it near the bottom is becasue its a bit ugly and I do not really want to comprimise the look of the forum just to make a bit extra money.

Above the fold basically means at the top of the page so that it gets viewed by all viewers of the forum. The adsense blocks themselves can be colour coordinated to the forum to make the layout flow a bit more and not be as 'standy outty'. The colurs and subsequent code changes are done via the adsense web page.

Also what about on the landing page for the forum, main url..have an image that indicates access to the directory. May help your CTR.

Something which I just whipped up. Not sure it will stay there for long though, as it is a single image, meaning not that useful for SEO. Just a short term fix really... My webdesign skills are limited!
