Hello,

We provide free income generating 0870 & 0871 numbers for businesses. There are absolutely no set up fees or running costs and we pay you a regular income.

In addition to this we give you access to free online call monitoring software ( again no set up or ongoing fees involved ) so that you can monitor your sales and marketing promotions, i.e. monitor where & when the call was from, for how long etc.... This will help you better understand the results of any sales & marketing promotions.

For details or instant sign up visit www.moneylines.co.uk , or e-mail on info@moneylines.co.uk

I think Mike means there must be some sort of catch with this deal. I must admit I did feel a little bit like that when I first read it, but was just not confident enough to post it.

It seems a little too good to be true! Also I am a little confused to what they want from people, do they want you to setup numbers or do they want you to use exsisting numbers and get paid for selling things?

Perhaps you could clear things up for us "moneylines"

Hi,

Yes we set up 0870 & 0871 numbers for free. There are no set up costs or ongoing fees.

The 0870 or 0871 numbers are linked to a landline, i.e. someone sees the 0870 or 0871 number, dials it and is passed via our exchange to your nominated land line. We pay you an income based on the amount of seconds for which calls are received, the top rate being 3.6 pence per minute. There are no catches.

For further details visit our site www.moneylines.co.uk , then if you want order online by visiting our "order now" section. We will get you a number within 48 hours ( unless it's the weekend, in which case it will take slightly longer ), plus we will give you a unique password and id number so the you can visit our billing stats site. Here you can track when calls were made, from where, how many, calculate your earnings etc....

This is also a handy tool for working out the effectiveness of advertising campaigns, i.e. if you place an advert in Aberdeen & Bristol at the same time how do you know which one generates the calls ??? Simple, look on the stats site and it will tell you how many calls were received from each area. If no calls were received from Bristol & lots from Aberdeen then you have a pretty good idea which works. This will help you make the most of your advertising budget.

If you advertise in several publications then we can give you more than one number, this will determine which paper, magazine etc... is the most effective.

Hope this answers your questions,

Regards,

Richard

My ummm was aimed at the cost of the calls for the people that dial and what business benefit (other than short term financial) that it would show me....

Not being negative but i am more concerned with long term business benefits and from reading the site I could not ascertain what they would be for me..

Others may see it but I cant.

Not a lot of benefit for people using the service as far as i can see? If you use and promote the number, all you get back is a max 3.6p perminute. So no point using it as a premium rate type call. If you use it as a 'customer service' type number you'll get a lot of very pee'd off customers being charged for contacting you, and all for 3.6p per minute, whats the point?
Moneylines, if we've got the wrong end of the stick, why not explain the possible/supposed benefits in using these lines?

Well the majority of major top 100 UK listed companies seem to use these facilities, so I guess this is not a good idea !!!!! Best stick with the non top 100 companies who think this is a bad idea. Any suggestions ???

Explain to me the benefits of this as opposed to the current land line and mobile phone lines that I operate for my customers?

I understand why 'top 100' companies use this but would like a business justification as to why it is good for me and my customers just because the 'top 100' use it..

Not being argumentative but your last post seemed to be saying that because they use it it is a good idea for everyone.

Posts are made on a forum and you must expect good and bad replies, I am not shy in giving my opinions and will not change this (and make no apologies for doing so) but please remember that I gear my opinions based on my own business needs and experiences. I am more than happy to promote a product, even if I have no use for it, once I see the business gain to be had or the opportunities that it offers people.

The key to successful forum usage/advertising/whatever is to clearly state what the benefits of such are and/or offer advice that has some value to others that they may use. Even looking through your site I cannot see a business gain explained fully, this is an opportunity for you to fine tune the site to offer these explanations to your potential customers.

There is a market for these services but it needs to be delivered properly to compete with the services offerred by the major players in the communications market..do not take any posts personally and use them as a sounding board to develop your business and website forward.
