Canada's answer is correct, due to the fraudulent activities that are associated with SA many a company will not deal.

Unfortunately as said above people will not risk dealing with people from SA due to previous experiences.

What payment methods were you hoping to use?

I have been scammed before with buyers from SA, i have since stopped dealing with buyers based in that region. Not all people like yourself are scammers..... i hope (lol)
so surely there will be suppliers based in your area.

dude, just because you had a bad experience in SA means that you'll not deal with buyers in SA. Ok, so just because american soldiers get shot in the war in Iraq means they must now retreat and move to the green zone. or The fact that there are fake money in distrubution i must now avoid working or having money. Or the fact that number plates are being faked means you must avoid to have a car or avoid driving the car. but i must agree that there is fraud in the country in any country

i am a legit business man, and my customers is the most important to without them i wont have a business. also my policy is to do business the right and only way. thankfully i am that kind of person who cannot see how i can rob someone of there hard earned money. i have refilled a new customer of mines inkjet cartridge the other day and it came back and he complained that the cartridge is emptying quickly and i know i refilled it fully. And i could see he looked very worried loosing his money and i assured him that if there is anyone that would be taking a loss its going to be me not you. We have a great rerelationship together and he is a happy customer for live garanteed. Point is Sucsessfull entrepreneurs and businessman and there is alot of them use that thing between there head for thingking unlike scammers they use there ass for thinking, they have short term solutions for long term problems and you know how the end goes crash and burn or the house always wins or whatever Regards izak

Seriously unneeded post. I had bad experiences with buyers from that part of the world so its my decision not to associate with them. Is that such a problem?

You may be a legitimate buyer yes. But like MustHaveMobiles said: there is a lot of fraudulent activity associated with that particular region. Thats why i no longer do my business there.

I agree when i dealt with a buyer in SA i was new to business. Didn't know the ins and outs. I was stupid enough to arrange a deal for a sony psp sent to a buyer in cape town. He paid through PayPal then when the goods arrived he did a charge back. I lost £170 in the process and felt bad for weeks later.....i was only 15. How would you feel?

I'm not saying your a scammer. But as a rule of thumb i just don't take my business there. I've not lost a penny since.

Matt

What are you looking for Vito and how would you intend to make a transaction safe for your supplier? Africa (mainly Nigeria) is currently a nightmare to do business with and most serious, experienced people in the industry will just not want to take the risk. It is not a personal attack on YOU.

Also people should keep high alert to guys from US/UK etc.whoes original identity are SA-nese,I have ever experienced a trap by a guy from SA but at that time he stayed in US and at the beginning I think guys from US are trustable but after a while I learned he from SA,it was my luck to be aware of the trap in the early stage,or I would have lost much bucks!

In China,Nigeria almost is equal to cheaters, really bad
