I am interested in reselling cosmetics, particularly branded cosmetics, l'oreal, clinique, clarins etc
Does anyone know where I should begin?

If you have a retail store you can buy direct from the manufacturer.

How do I go about setting up a retail store and getting in touch with the manufacturer. Would an online shop or even an ebay shop class as a retail store? Is it as simple as emailling the manufacturer with my intentions and ordering from them?
Thanks
John

I did my research and checked on ebay for this kind of thing, there was another seller with about 30 of the style of items I wish to sell. I got in touch with her and she said she buys directly from her local chemist - meaning her local small chemist?
She also said this ensured that the stuff she was getting was all high quality and 100% genuine, as there is a lot of fake cosmetics going around.

Here`s a few wholesalers to contact for Cosmetics

http://www.creativemax.com

http://www.e-apollo.co.uk/index2.html

http://www.drakus.com/allprods.php

http://www.honeypotcosmetics.com

The companies l'oreal, clinique, clarins will not deal with online sellers only Brick and Mortar retail stores!

Unless she is talking about her local drug store, some eBay sellers buy from retail stores when items are on sale and resell them on eBay!
