One more question about the Investor for the PS3 deal
I just put this into general discussion by mistake. I wanted to put it here where I original ask the question. So here goes.
From those who responded to my last ad I have another question. I have someone who is interested in putting up the 12,000 for the PS3 deal. But they want to go to the companies warehouse and physically touch the products. I would not have a problem with that but then he will know my supplier, their location, and then could cut me out of the deal. Does anyone know of a half way point that I might be able to discuss that would make both of us secure with the transaction.
I am running out of time so then theres the rush as well for making this quick. So if anyone has any ideas please let me know.
Thanks

You will need to sign a NCND (Non-disclosure and Non-circumvention document). The NCND basically means the chap accompanying you to the warehouse cannot divulge your suppliers to parties outside the deal or indeed cut you out of the deal all together. Do make sure you get a third party to sign the NCND prior to the final agreement.
For more information have a brief look through this thread where this type of thing has been discussed before:

Well I set up a Paypal account so this one investor believes it is the most secure way. So hopefully it goes through. I am so excited and thanks for everyone helping me out.

dont allow who are not verified and only ship to their CONFIRMED paypal address. Also take into consideration the fees charged on the payment and also remember that if your account is new and suddently 12,000 goes in PayPal may freeze your account as a security measure.

Yeah I know PayPal fees are outrageous. It is going to be a new account so them freezing it sounds just great. Why does this have to be so difficult? All I want is to make some money, and this is easy money. There warehouse is so nice. I just wish everything goes through good as I would like to keep buying from them.
Thanks for the info.

Careful, that attitude can invoke mistakes and foolish errors. Also why are you choosing to use Paypal? Why not Escrow or Letter of Credit? How are you paying the supplier?

There's no may it WILL be frozen, the money laundering regulations dictate a level of £6,000 I think...the figure may not be right but the freezing bit is.
The Paypal fees will be horrific on this, consider setting up a trading account with the bank and going for direct transfer. Set up a legal agreement between the two of you to ensure the deal goes smoothly

The only person I found who would help me wants to go through paypal. I wanted to do a bank transfer due to that is how I am paying. The company is secure. But there are so many damn scams it has been hard for me to find an investor. Everyone mainly thinks because I am young I guess. I am 23 and help my girlfriend run and start up Makeupevolved.com from scratch. She just put another 1000 into it to update with Flash. But even with this behind me people are not easy to convince that this is a legitimate deal. I live in London, agreed to sign contracts, photocopy my passport, show residential proof, show bank proof, yet no one wants to help me buy these. I figured i would get a investor, pay them a % and be done with it. Now I am having to let this guy buy 30 of them to make up the 12,000 I dont have. We took all 8,000 of mine and my girlfriend and are putting it up. So it sucks, hopefully paypal wont freeze it, hopefully it will all go through, and if not someone else will be able to order the 50 I have held. And then I cannot guarantee to be able to order the 2nd release in april.
