Authentic Lacoste is not easy to find. We had a long thread discussing this a while back. One of our suppliers in Italy had authentic Lacoste polos for both men and women, but the MOQ were substantially higher. And given the many fakes and the high prices for authentic ones, the margins were far from good.
You could try Image wholesale in the UK for Lacoste polos, they normally have them in stock (albeit the three button versions if I remember correctly).
What other items are you looking for specifically? Normally, every seller will tell you that their items sell great, but in the end, you need to know your market and know what sells well and what doesn´t. The US ebay market for example differs slightly to the european Ebay market in terms of the type of buyers. There are quite a lot older buyers looking for classic brands like Zegna, Loro Piana, Valentino, Missoni and the likes. These are well known classic fashion brands with very high price levels, and they tend to sell very successfully, as there are hardly any (if any) fakes, and not as much competition as for other fashion brands.
I can just speak from personal experience, but in the end it is vital that you research your market yourself. Use the ebay search for sold items to find out which brands sold for what prices. It will give you an indication of the price level (ebay is always a good indication, even if you are selling in an onlineshop or something like that). Or you could try to order smaller sample orders from wholesalers to try the items.
