Apple iPod touch
I'm looking for the iPod touch both 8GB and 16GB. I'm willing to pay the US retail price (8gb 299USD, 16GB 399USD)

Why do not you buy it directly in Apple Store?

Because they refuse to ship international, i've called them several times. The price in europe is aprox. 170USD per unit more on the 16GB. And since I need about 5 units of both 8GB and 16GB, it could save some money buying at US retail price.

However, as I know, there is quite high import tax in your country, Netherlands, right?

When buying outside europe there's a 19% tax on the price excluding shipping. But when buying from EU country's there's no tax at all. So it would be even beter if someone within europe could suply me with these.

I wonder if you get them for this price in Europe...
If you buy off a wholesaler in the US there will not only be the import VAT but also duties for the import...
so we are at approx. 382.50 USD for the 8GB one.

I don't know what happend to the poster who told me the e-mail of his supplier in this thread. But his prices seem to be low, 270USD for the 8G and 370USD for the 16G(for 1 item). Also he claims to be sending from Germany so there won't be any import duties. However I have my doubts considering even when buying 30+ from an european wholesaler I wouldn't get close to those prices.
Since i cant PM yet, could you post your price on the 16GB unit here to-neXt?
