Have emailed you guys, I have paid today for a full 12 months but been told by members I have to wait a few days?

You are not a paid advertiser, you have not been approved yet so you must wait. When you're aloud to advertise your status will change to "Community Advertiser". I would suggest you read the forums FAQ section.
