Where have you checked so far? There are a few suppliers in Manchester you just need to find the right location. There are a few big companies online also. You need to do some research all this information is available for free either through this site or on other free wholesale sites.

Bit of both really, ideally I would like them posted to me in 9 out of 10 circumstances, however I would like to be able to collect them should I have a stock shortage of a particular line without having to wait for royal fail (sorry mail) to get off there striking backsides and deliver the stock to me.

thats my biggest problem - I know there are a lot of suppliers in manchester who would love to sell there stock onto me. However as a newbie to this element of business (my core business is B2B SEO / Web development - I am getting this off the ground for my wife) sourcing suppliers within 20-30 miles of where I live feels an almost impossible task as years of googling has made me reliant on those with websites :

Cosmetics is a massive market but highly competitive on eBay. You would be looking at 5-20% profit on the right items but be prepared to hold on to stock for a long time. For a new seller it may well take 2-3 months before you start making any profit. Remember like any low value items P&P and Paypal fees are real killers. I can send you some suppliers once you have PM function. Companies will generally send cosmetics via courier and there may be a minimum spend.

Hi,

I undestand the margins are tight in the cosmetics field, however our plans are heavily based upon the fact my core trade is internet marketing and not relying on ebay etc.

I didnt realise i didnt have the PM feature alread,y how is it I go about getting it (I assume its a certain number of posts)

THanks

Nathan
