when you buy from ali express you are covered by their buyer protection Escrow, where by the funds are only released when you are happy with the goods. With Alibaba i wouldnt touch with a barge pole!! as it is very difficult to avoid all the scammers!!

Spot on..AliExpress also belongs to Alibaba.com.It mainly boosts small online orders with finished products or say ready-to-sell items while Alibaba is mainly promoting large quantity customization orders.

Be smart...by basically not touching any branded goods from there at all.

    Almost guaranteed fakes.

For Chinese, you have to spend at least RMB19800 to be the member of alibaba but 0 for aliexpress. That's the difference!

    Hi all,

It is Javier form the Alibaba.com UK Team. Regarding this question, I would like to mention that the main difference is that Aliexpress.com specialises in smaller minimum orders. In fact, many suppliers can be found both on Alibaba.com and Aliexpress.com. In these cases, you can find a “view my products on Alibaba.com/Aliexpress.com” badge on the top right corner of their Aliexpress/Alibaba pages.

    Kind regards and happy trading,

    Javier
    The Alibaba.com UK Team
