    Hi,

I am thinking of buying some pallets from Gem Wholesale and would just like everyones opinion on them?

I have also read somewhere on this site that pallets aren't the best things to buy as you make very little money from them, is this true?

That isn't necessarily true. Reselling stock from pallets is what you make of it. If you have the expertise to repair broken items or have a distribution avenue that is ideal for graded goods then you can make money from selling pallets. If however you are just looking at making a quick few pounds, you aren't going to make a great deal selling pallets on this very basis.

A lot of people have used Gem Wholesale, they have been around for years. If you search the forum you will find many past discussions including experiences. Additionally, there are many suppliers out there that offer pallets, including some of this forum, look in the marketplace for those.

    Good luck.

On top of what Anthony has said, the general gist i get is that they can be a lottery, one pallet you will make a lot on, another you might not.

I've been looking on their website too, I'd keep away from graded products as you can't be sure what you're getting. The clearance pallets look fine though.

I think with pallets, you need a regular and fast turn around to make decent money though.

I was actually looking at the Grade 1 clothing pallets, are they really that bad?

I am just really looking to top up my income, but the more money I can make the better.

Been looking through old posts and qclothing seem to be ok.

    Can anyone recommend any others?
