So it would seem that this months 'hot topic' on TWF was 'Logo Design.'
We had some truly great threads and discussions on what makes a good logo, what works, what doesnt, a showcase of some great logos, and even a TWF community project with Tracys logo.

It got me thinking, we have looked at what is good, so why not round of this month with examples of terrible logo design.

Below are some logos I found from this great article:

Will this be okay for monochrome?

When a font can make or break a logo (eww, Papyrus):

    Peoples perception is everything:

Take a look at the article, and post your 'favourite' from a bad bunch.
Or, do you know a terrible logo you want to share with everyone (dont post logos belonging to people on TWF...thats just mean!)

And for anyone who wants to see the 'reasons' why pepsi's new logo is grounbreaking according to its designer...have a read of this waffle:

    Pepsis designer talks waffle!

There were so many cringeworthy logos at the end, but I was limited to three :(
Some of the 'chinese' ones are funny.
Shows how dirty the mind is...

I must admit, most of them on that site are better than some so called designers not a million miles from here.

I was waiting for that logo to crop up in the thread...

To me, it looks like the 'scrap cuttings' you get when cutting 'snowflakes' out of paper.

I guess Im not dirty minded
I guess if someone pointed it out (please, please dont) then I could possibly see it.
Maybe in an abstract way, then yes.
Its all Im going to think now I see it :(

Not exactly 'terrible logo design', but I thought this persons interpretation of the new pepsi logo was quite amusing:

Must say, thats a good example of how design can totally change someones perception on the business.
Their original card made me think 'one-man-band' quite quickly. I imagined a guy with a bit of a gut, off-coloured white grubby shirt.
The rebrand looks a hell of a lot more professional, a lot more reputable. I could go on...
    Nice one
