Hi Guest!

Our website stays online because of the support of our advertisers. A huge part of them are from banner ads that appear on our site. While some of them seems to be intrusive for some, these ads are needed to keep our community running and continue providing free membership service for buyers.

In light to this, we request that you disable ad blocking programs or add our website to your ad blocker's whitelist. This keeps us from offering our basic membership to everyone for free and help with maintenance costs of our website.

If you have already disabled ad blocking programs or added us into the whitelist, please ignore this message, this message will disappear in a few seconds!

Are you running your Facebook competitions legally?

    Hi all,

As some of you may know I spend quite a while generating business through my Facebook page. A great way of doing this is by holding competitions and giving away prizes. Due to misuse of this Facebook is now starting to ban pages that hold competitions through their pages. Instead you now have download (and sometimes pay for) third party apps that host the contests outside of FB.

When I first heard of this I was a little peeved as I now have spend a lot more time (and money) to generate the same interest in my products as before. I have spent the day trawling the web and found a helpful article that others might find useful - http://www.digitalvisitor.com/lates...unning-your-facebook-competition-legally.html

I have now sorted my competitions and even have one running at the moment on a 14 day free trial. Time will tell if it works!

Just in case you want any free filled party bags please free to enter my comp :)

    Thanks for sharing Vicky :)

It's also worth looking at using the free Static HTML iFrame Tab which can save users from paying third party apps to run competitions. This however will involve some coding knowledge such as adding forms.
