They did very well in their previous version with the 8650 board. We are expecting them to a big hit for Christmas. But they are a newer version at a bit higher price and we needed to see how well they would be accepted. We should have a good quantity on hand by mid week or so next week.

must say, they come in a nice fancy blue magnetic box Pete!!

Received a test unit this week from china town. got to say the build quality is spot on! No cheap plastic here...

And Pete has some great extra's to bundle with it,

There are far too many tablet snobs in this world!

I don't know if he get's any press at all in the UK, but one of the best known newspaper, magazine and TV talking heads in the US sums it up nicely:

The price difference between "the best" and the adequate often is much larger than the quality difference. George F. Will

We sold a lot of the previous unit from this factory, I can ask.

If they are not something they produce as stock, I'm sure an order for 100 or 200 would get any color you want.

Please enter a ticket on my help desk, it's hard to keep up with requests otherwise. >> ***********************************************

I have come to find out we cannot get pink EV009, but that pink Q88 are available. I am adding the pink option to my China site, but will not add to the UK dropship site until we have some sales history.

DHL 3 to 5 days, as always, right up until Christmas.

1 piece by post is about a month now, after Nov 1 will probably not make it for Christmas.

    No, come is Christmas....

Order November 15, maybe get by New Year. Order December 1, get in middle of January.

If the RM doesn't pile in the corner of a warehouse and forget entirely.

There simply isn't enough cargo capacity on the passenger planes that the postal services use for mail. It's backing up already.

    Right.

Other than Argentina, every order I have sent to South America has resulted in grief. I would love to sell there, it's a great market, but taxes and apparently less than honest customs people make it difficult.

I'll ship with the understanding that if the goods don't make it to you there is no recourse to me.

Or, I'll do as I have with others in Central and South America and ship to Miami and you can make arrangements from there.

Truly sorry, I wish it were as simple as welling to the UK and EU.

These actually look okay for a cheap tablet - I think I will get one of one of the kids for Christmas.

Certainly not forking out for a new iPad that’s for sure - at least not for the kids anyway :)

I'm guessing, Pete, that you've been doing this for a while. I wonder, why don't you get your own factory? It would make sense. Costs may be high initially, but profits would increase per unit

I don't do this for profit, I do it as a service for forum members. Making enough for a Happy Meal each day is all I am looking for.
