Hi all I was planning on starting an Amazon FBA selling business but I'm having trouble finding suppliers that will give me accounts some ask for TAX Codes etc and I don't have one.

The first step I have made so far is put in an application for a business bank account, once I get the account I plan to voluntary register my business with the HMRC... I should then get a TAX Code? but how long will this take? and am I going about this the correct way?

I don't think you need a bank account to tell HMRC you have a business.
Just give them a call and they'll sort it out for you, along with your tax code.

Ok but I wonder is there any benefit to me doing that?, I mean I pay VAT to the supplier then I'm having to add it on to my price?

It's a legal requirement to inform HMRC.
Not sure what your point is about VAT?
