Dealing with new suppliers as a newbie

Hi guys, new to the site. I'm trying to contact several distributors who sell toy lines, many are liquidators, end of line suppliers and a few clearance distributors.
What is the best way to contact these suppliers, I have sent many emails and never get any reply, some do but the main ones like grant and bowman dont.
I probably sound like an amateur and I'm not sure what I really should be asking them.

    appreciate any suggestions.
