I found the product i want to sell on ebay / amazon and other platform but once they calculate the the shipping cost it kill all the profit you may make by selling in the UK.

Any advice on the shipping cost would be appreciated.

Well done for spotting this now and asking questions. Too many people just order without doing the calculations.

It all depends on what the products are, how many you are buying and their size/weight.

Sea freight is really cheap, but you will need, at the very least, pallet loads, ideally container loads.

Airfreight should always be last resort, with courier even further behind.

You will need to import in larger quantities to make the shipping worthwhile, otherwise it may well be cheaper to source from the UK.

Presumably you've already tested the market by obtaining a few samples and seeing if they sell so you won't be diving in and buying loads of items that you're subsequently stuck with?

You may be able to find a freight (forwarding I think they're called) company that can do a part load and combine your pallet load with those of others all in one container. It does mean that you will need to have somewhere to store the items when they are delivered though as you won't get to keep the container.

Have you thought about sharing the product with someone, who wouldn't compete with you , therefore sharing the shipping costs ??

Find buyers also in UK and then share one shipper。
