Hi Guest!

Our website stays online because of the support of our advertisers. A huge part of them are from banner ads that appear on our site. While some of them seems to be intrusive for some, these ads are needed to keep our community running and continue providing free membership service for buyers.

In light to this, we request that you disable ad blocking programs or add our website to your ad blocker's whitelist. This keeps us from offering our basic membership to everyone for free and help with maintenance costs of our website.

Have noticed recently that links are getting added by Viglink. Sometimes this is fine, but at times, for example when having a conversation with someone, Viglink throws in a whole bunch of links which take away from the link I'm trying to put in.

Also, in the marketplace section, surely it's unfair a link will be added to an advertiser's post which goes to john lewis, vodafone, argos etc, or even ebay, for the same item when the advertiser has paid to be able to put his stock on.

I'm sure the forum are making money when people click through on these links, not trying to deprive them of the revenue, but what do others think?

I am not seeing any adverts or viglink on advertisers or any other pages when logged in
Using adblock plus helps cut out most spam (15 on this page)

That must be the way forward, but won't help when trying to send a message to someone who hasn't got it.
