Does anyone here reccommend any good International Online Payment Methods (other than Paypal) which one could offer to our European and Asian counterparts ?

Being that Paypal is more US-centric, i wanted to offer payment options that were more convient and comfortable for my eBay auction customers who live in Asia and Europe.

Which credit cards do THEY use and which portals make payment with their credit cards easy ?

Are there any other online (or offline) payment options or portals that are EURO or ASIAN-centric that others would reccomend ? i do alot of business internationally and wanted to increase my customers payment options as a tool to closing more sales. Ideas? thanks in advance.

    Welcome to the forum!

Paypal recently launched Paypal (Europe) Ltd, governed by the FSA, so you could quite happily use them.

    Other payment options include:

    http://www.nochex.com (UK based)
    http://www.ibill.com (USA)
http://www.worldpay.com (UK based and a Royal bank of Scotland Company)
http://www.clickbank.com (USA and can only be used for electronic products)

Now a lot of payment systems are US based, but I don't think this make customers feel insecure, and most people who buy online are happy to do so in USD.

As far as payment options, your really looking at Visa and Master Card for international I believe. I like the worldpay, and paypal options simply for their UK debit card option. (Nochex handles UK debit cards too, but it hasn't got a very big international following to my knowledge)

    Hope this helps

Worldpay is outstanding, I can't fault them!

Lets face it once you've got that Visa and Mastercard are recognised worldwide.
