Hi Guest!

Our website stays online because of the support of our advertisers. A huge part of them are from banner ads that appear on our site. While some of them seems to be intrusive for some, these ads are needed to keep our community running and continue providing free membership service for buyers.

In light to this, we request that you disable ad blocking programs or add our website to your ad blocker's whitelist. This keeps us from offering our basic membership to everyone for free and help with maintenance costs of our website.

If you have already disabled ad blocking programs or added us into the whitelist, please ignore this message, this message will disappear in a few seconds!

I used to use the forum marketplace. But never used it since.

I'm almost out the retail world, so couldn't really care about TWF's market place anymore.

As Dave mentioned, TWF, at the end of the day, is a business. Anthony's business. And he can do what he likes.

But at the same time, in my opinion, TWF got dismantled when SS was shoved down its throat.

I found it hilarious when I read this thread. TWF's independence was washed away when SS was shoved all over it.

Forums are quite different to many businesses as it's quite a delicate ecosystem, the forum relies on it's members to both attract other members but also to attract advertisers and ad revenue. You only need to look at a site like Digg (a posterchild of the web 2.0 revolution) to see how things can go wrong when you start messing with the eco system in a big way.

Like i've said before, i didn't use the marketplace so I have lost no money from the marketplace changes but i have seen a large drop in activity and not so many threads I want to comment in.
