Marks & Spencers have began to launch a trial of a new one-hour delivery service on selected products, however is only currently available at its Camden store, and to its loyalty scheme members.

Loyalty scheme members opting for this free delivery trial will also be offered 20% off of their shop with delivery expected within an hour.

Items included in this one hour delivery trial are somewhat limited to drinks, desserts, "dinner for tonight" range and various fresh foods, with the hope of expanding this to all products being fully available online respectively across all stores.

With the rise and focus of convenience taking over, it makes so much sense to move their products to an online store, and although Marks & Spencer are doing this now, I feel perhaps they've missed out on some potential revenue.

M&S Chief Executive, Steve Rowe said: "It has not cost us anything over the last five years by not being online with food."
