    Hi!

A supplier in China is allowing us to use PayPal but they specifically note they will not take credit card through PayPal. I was wondering why does this matter? don't they receive the funds the same way if it's through PayPal?

I believe the reason will be because PayPal charge a higher % fee for them if credit card is used.

That's how it is with one of my suppliers, well that's what they tell me anyway.

I don't think there is a way for the supplier to tell if you have paid by CC or BT. I would only ever pay with CC if using gift payment if not you will be totally unprotected.
