sorry this isn't a wholesale question but I've got a listing going up soon for an antique item which has sold on ebay in the past for quite a high value. I don't have an account with royal mail and was wondering if it was best to use ebay's postage system and send via one of their couriers advertised as it seems you get a higher rate of insurance. I'm not exactly sure if this is true but only recently received an email regarding their new courier dispatch section within my ebay. Is this the best way to go or go via an external courier site?

UPS from experience offer the most 'caring' service compared to the rest of them. You'll also need to check whether your item is on their insurance exemption list if so you won't be able to claim for damage.
